Everyone kept telling me that I needed to drive the Going To The Sun Road through the middle of Glacier National Park. It was raining when I gotup and packed up my tent. I got out on the road early and the picture above is about what I saw. I didn't actually take this picture, but it is a very good approximation of the view.
My car was still running very rough. I called a Honda dealer in Missoula and made an appointment for 1pm. They checked it out and cleaned a spring in the coil that had been arking. I test drove it and it ran fine. Paid the $100 and got 20 miles down the road and it started running rough again. I decided to drive on to Dillon and deal with it there.
I got the coil, cap and roter replaced at Spanky's Garage in Dillon. The parts alone were about $175, but after looking at the corosion and burn marks all over the coil I'm not surprised it needed replacing, just surprised it made it through the Glacier trip. I'm in good hands. (Been reading Proverbs 3 (mostly lines 5-6) and it really is true).
I'm back in Dillon for the week staying with Nell and Ken. Ken is an amazing cook and I'm throughly enjoying my time here. Exactly what I needed.
