This was my camp ground at Many Glacier. I stayed here three
nights. My car was running rough the entire way over here. I parked it
in the rain and moved some dirt around to stop the small river that was
flooding this otherwise perfect site. I needed to move my car, but it wouldn't
start. The first time ever in 147,000 miles. It started later that day.
I setup my tent in the rain and got in to get out of the rain. Read and
wrote in my journal. |
 |
About 4pm it finally stopped raining and I headed out on a hike. This
is the little store and motel that didn't open until the day I left. Not
a problem, I had everything I needed anyway. |

Some of the shots from the trail leading back to the falls. The hike
was about 2.5 miles to the falls. |
 |
Looking down from the top of the falls. Not the best shot, but you couldn't
really see it, mostly heard it. |
 |
This is the river just before it falls. |
 |
Some shots on the trail back. I got back and scrounged some wood from
other camp sites that had left some big logs. I spent a couple of hours
watching it smoke and never really got a fire started. The wood was just
too wet. |
